Wedding showers...

Julie and Jeff joined Jeff's family in Chicago for Easter dinner -- a sit down dinner with 38 members of Jeff's family that Julie had never met. Dinner was immediately followed by a surprise shower hosted by Jeff's aunt, Linda.

On May 18th, Julie's friends and coworkers showered Julie with wonderful gifts. Her favorite was an original work of art by Joseph Succar. The shower was hosted by Beth, Zella, and Katrina at the Bayshore Marriott. It was an elegant brunch buffet with unique details including braille placecards and unusual wedding facts.

Bachelor parties...

When Jeff arrived in Chicago for the Easter weekend, several of Jeff's college buddies intercepted Jeff at the airport for an impromptu bachelor party. Unfortunately, they didn't completely dispose of the evidence and Julie had to help scrub marker off Jeff's body the next day.

On May 29th, Jeff was kidnapped by his coworker's in a rented minivan and driven to Rhode Island, with its more relaxed laws, for another bachelor party. The dancers couldn't have swayed Jeff too much because he stopped to call Julie in the middle of the show.
