The Weddings of Julie & Jeff
The Wait
One problem with meeting someone on a cruise is that there's no
guarantee that the someone you meet will live next door... or in the
same town... or in the same state... Jeff lives outside Boston,
Massachusetts, and Julie lives in Miami, Florida. This doesn't help
make their courtship any easier.
Over the next year...
Almost single-handedly, Julie and Jeff support
American Airlines
(one of them seems to fly every couple of weeks and they're racking up
the frequent flyer miles) and the
long distance phone companies.

Most of their time apart which isn't spent at work, on
the phone, or in the air, is spent chatting on-line and composing email
to each other. They both eagerly await the day when they will live not
only in the same state, but actually in the same house.
After the second wedding, which conveniently coincides with the end of
the school year and lease terms, Julie plans to relocate to Boston.
