The Weddings of Julie & Jeff
Planning the Second Wedding

[ Our invitation:
 Dr. and Mrs. Peter V. Van Tassel request the honor of your presence at
 the wedding of their daughter Julie Anne to Mr. Jeffrey Gordon
 Wiedemeier on Friday, the twenty-first of June nineteen hundred and
 ninety-six on board the S.S. OceanBreeze en route to Nassau, Bahamas
 ]
This is our wedding invitation.

The second wedding of Julie and Jeff will take place at 8:30 pm on Friday, June 21, 1996, on the observation deck (located on the Bridge Deck) of the S.S. OceanBreeze run by Dolphin Cruise Line. There will be a reception in the Mayfair room (located on the Promenade Deck) immediately following the ceremony. The OceanBreeze departs Miami on Friday, June 21, 1996, for a 3 night weekend cruise to Nassau, Bahamas, returning to Miami on Monday, June 24.

The second wedding will be very similar to the first. Scott (OPHarbour) will still be Jeff's best man and Julie's sister, Katrina, will be matron of honor. It will, once again, be slightly off beat and non-traditional. There will be a reggae wedding march, Scott playing the conch shell, and we've even heard rumors of the Conch Republic Militia, ParrotHead Division, arriving armed with super soakers for the grand exit.

The second wedding, unlike the first, will also have some traditional elements. Our vows will be till death do us part instead of till the end of this cruise. Julie will be wearing a "real" wedding dress and Jeff will be wearing a white tux with tails. We have no idea what anyone else will be wearing. Considering our friends and family, we expect anything from jeans and heavy metal shirts, to loud hawaiian shirts, to formal attire (evening dresses and suits). We hope people will feel free to wear whatever they feel comfortable in.
